The main problem with the Boot Camp method is that it won’t let you play Valorant on Mac M1/M2 models. In other words, the way you can play Valorant on a Mac is to turn your Mac into a PC (sort of)! Can you play Valorant on Mac M1/M2? On the other hand, if you own an Intel Mac, you can totally use this method to get Windows on it and have fun with the game. However, there is one significant caveat to this method and that is it cannot be used on Apple Silicon Macs that are powered by M1 and M2 chips. You can play Valorant on Mac thanks to an app called Boot Camp Assistant that allows you to install Windows 10 on the machine and then download and run compatible software, including games like Valorant. Still, if you are determined to get some FPS action with this game on your MacBook or desktop Mac, there may yet be a way to do that.
Considering how popular this game is and that its system requirements are rather low, it’s weird that we don’t have Valorant on Mac, especially when you take into account that other highly-popular multiplayer games like CS:GO and League of Legends are supported for Apple computers. Valorant, one of the biggest and most competitive free-to-play multiplayer FPS games at the moment is, regrettably, isn’t supported for macOS, and we’ll likely not get Valorant on Mac anytime soon.
